New Tech: SmartPaperâ„¢ by Gyricon

Gyricon's SmartPaper™ uses over 100 Xerox patents on a kind of paper that contains a thin layer millions of tiny plastic balls. Each ball is half white, half black, with a tiny permanent electric charge. By applying electricity, each ball can be rotated to show either its black or white half, thus forming letters. The balls maintain their position until electricity is again applied to form new letters
